Downtown Woodstock will officially welcome the holiday season on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, with the annual lighting of Museum Square. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will feature special guests Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Visitors are encouraged to explore the many shops, boutiques and restaurants in the downtown core before or after the celebration, which marks the start of a festive weekend in the city.
