The annual Spring It Forward food drive is back at Seaway Mall this week, looking to raise as much food and money as possible for those less fortunate.
One of the beneficiaries from this food drive is Hope Centre in Welland. Jenn Sinclair says the need in the Niagara Region isn't going anywhere, anytime soon.
Sinclair says an engaging way to push food donations is important, especially as food starts to dwindle.
Non-perishable food items are what's typically ideal for groups like The Hope Centre, as Sinclair notes they can add up in a hurry.
All proceeds from the drive are split between The Hope Centre, Open Arms Mission and Holy Trinity Outreach.
