Today: Skating is taking place at the Tillsonburg Community Centre! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Public Skating runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Today: Community Employment Services will be at the Plattsville Library from 9 a.m. to noon and the Thamesford Library on Tuesday from 1:30 to 4 p.m., where you'll have the chance to speak with a career consultant, update your resume, and learn more about training and/or apprenticeship opportunities. Today: Yarn & Yack is taking place at the Norwich Library on Tuesday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, embroidery or other crafty hobbies and enjoy creating by the fireplace with friends.
Today: Join staff from 6-7 p.m. in the Princeton Library lobby for the Princeton Hobby Lobby! Bring your favorite craft or hobby and come out for the evening to socialize and meet new local crafters and friends. They will have puzzles, yarn, and lots of books available for inspiration, as well as coffee and tea.
Today: The Tillsonburg Horticultural Society is hosting its general meeting on Tuesday in the Tillsonburg Community Centre's Senior Center Auditorium. Guest Speaker: Catherine McInerney, President of the London Orchid Society, will talk about “What’s So Special About Orchids?” beginning at 7:30 p.m. More details here.
Tomorrow: A Learning About Memory Loss seminar is being hosted at the Ingersoll Library on Wednesday from 3 to 4 p.m., in partnership with the Alzheimer Society. The free seminar covers topics including normal changes in memory and thinking, mild cognitive impairment and early-stage dementia, recognizing the symptoms, strategies for brain health and planning ahead.
Tomorrow: Join the Princeton Library each Wednesday in November from 4-5 p.m. for an engaging and fun after-school club for all ages. The theme this week is Lego!
