Oxford County’s tastiest competition is back — and it’s all for charity. United Way Oxford is hosting its second annual Ultimate Burger Battle from November 1st to 30th, inviting locals to eat, vote, and make a difference.
The event features 14 restaurants across the county, with a possible 15th still to join. Each participating restaurant will serve a one-of-a-kind Ultimate Burger, with $2 from every sale supporting United Way Oxford programs that help one in five local residents.
Megan Porter of United Way Oxford shared her excitement and revealed which Tillsonburg restaurants are joining the friendly competition.
Porter said some might be familiar with the the fundraiser under a different name.
Sponsors Sierra Construction and the Oxford Cattlemen’s Association are once again supporting the campaign.
Porter shared that residents can follow along with ten community ambassadors.
Everyone is encouraged to visit participating restaurants throughout November and to vote online for the People’s Choice Award too.
