Jewellery was stolen February 22
Niagara Regional Police are investigating the theft of approximately $50,000 worth of jewellery from a St. Catharines residence.
Officers were called to a home near Read Road and Lakeshore Road on April 10. The homeowners, who had been out of the country, reported that several high-end pieces of jewellery were missing upon their return.
Investigators learned that a family member hosted a party at the home on February 22, which was attended by a group of teens. Police believe the theft occurred during that event.
Among the missing items are a Rolex watch, a Cartier necklace, two Cartier watches, and a women’s diamond ring—some of which hold deep sentimental value for the homeowners.
Police are urging local pawn shops and jewellery retailers to watch for any attempts to sell items matching the stolen pieces and to report any suspicious activity.
