Police identify suspect in early morning St. Catharines stabbing

Call came in from Niagara Street between Church Street and Welland Avenue

Niagara Regional Police identified a suspect in connection to a stabbing in St. Catharines.

Around 4:30am yesterday, police responded to an address on Niagara Street between Church Street and Welland Avenue about a stabbing, and later identified 30-year-old Rohan Chandler.

Chandler is wanted on a charge of attempted murder, as the victim was left with life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are appealing to the public for any surveillance video or dash cam video.
