Passengers will be offered guided tours of Port Colborne

Cruise season is setting sail again in Port Colborne as the Welland Canal reopens, and local tour guides are ready to welcome visitors.

From April 23 to October 27, the city will host over 70 cruise ship visits from lines including Viking, Victory, Pearl Seas, and Ponant.

The city says this reflects a broader 30% increase in Great Lakes cruise stops, with over 700 visits expected this year, generating a $230-million economic impact across the region.

Passengers aboard Viking, Victory, and Pearl Seas ships will have the chance to step off and explore Port Colborne through guided tours.
