Explore stream life on guided water safari at Woodstock’s Pittock Conservation Area

The tour runs from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday at Pittock Conservation Area

If you're up for a critter hunt, Woodstock's Pittock Conservation Area is the place to be tomorrow afternoon.

Caroline Biel, an educator with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, will be your guide on a water safari.

Biel says Pittock is a great ecosystem to explore.

Biel leads numerous stream ecosystem trips for students and families, and expects Thursday's safari should be exciting.

Biel says rubber boots are a good idea if you have them, but if not, curiosity will be enough.

The gathering point is the day-use area parking lot at Pittock Conservation Area, with the tour running from 1-2 p.m.
