Local students pursuing French Immersion will have more opportunities to continue their education, as the London District Catholic School Board (LDCSB) expands its secondary French Immersion program.
Starting in the 2026-27 school year, Regina Mundi College (RMC) will join Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School as a location for Grades 9 and 10 French Immersion, with plans to add Grades 11 and 12 in the following years.
The expansion reflects the growing demand for French Immersion and gives students more choices for maintaining their bilingual education.
The LDCSB says further details will be shared with families as they become available.
