A 58-year-old Woodstock woman is facing several charges after being stopped during a R.I.D.E. program in Innerkip.
On Saturday, Oxford OPP say the checkpoint was set up on George Street around 3:15 p.m., where officers allege the driver was impaired and also failed to stop for police.
Charges include impaired driving, dangerous operation, driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, having unsealed alcohol in a vehicle, and failing to stop for police.
The accused was held for a bail hearing, and police say R.I.D.E. programs remain an effective tool for removing impaired drivers from Oxford County roads.
