Ontario Provincial Police say two 17-year-olds from Norfolk County are facing charges after an alleged assault involving a store employee at a Simcoe Street business near the Norfolk–Oxford border. The youths allegedly fled in a pickup truck but were later arrested nearby, and no injuries were reported.

A 33-year-old Woodstock man is facing multiple charges after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Norwich Avenue store, assaulting an employee, and causing damage inside the business. He was arrested and is being held for a bail hearing.
