Police in Woodstock say a youth has been charged after allegedly attacking an elderly person near Turtle Island School and making racist comments. The victim was not hurt, and the youth faces charges including assault and threats.

Oxford County Council has approved three new all-way stop intersections in East Zorra-Tavistock and Zorra Township to address rising traffic volumes and collision activity. The changes will be installed the week of April 27th to improve safety and reduce conflicts at rural intersections.

Starting April 27th, crews will apply a protective coating to the Oxford Road 59 bridge in Woodstock, keeping traffic and the east sidewalk open while the west sidewalk is closed. Work is expected to finish by November 2026.
